Kane ..If you have a Marriage of the person Baptised you could check out the Church Reg.of the Church they married in to see if the Priest has made any notation of the Place of Baptism.

Kane....If you check out Durham Records on line there are 3 deaths listed 1872 for 28 Grosvenor St.
Bridget b abt 1849
Bridget b abt 1872
Hannah b abt 1872
Mary b abt. 1872

Don't know if they are the family of Brid. and Edward..(Looks like they may have had triplets...)

Langholm was/is under Dumfries and Galloway...(.Part of the Borders)

No I reckon Roger Caine (1849) was transported NSW....!!

A check of transportation records would maybe give some info.re his family.

have been looking for roger cain, dau catherine from rossmore leitrim, also may be in tithe book for cloone leitrim
was he transported to northumberland for sheep stealing? ;-)

Wonder if he is any relation to Brid. not a very common Christian name and certainly very few and far between in the Co Mayo....

Kane...The only Edward "Boyle" 1861 for Alnwick.....cant find a Bridget Cain/Kane....found a Mary working as a house servant in Market Place and a Mary snr.living with son John..no other Cain's in Alnwick that I can see,
