Isabella appears to be shown on the 1841 census by her maiden name, looking at the 1826 marriage??
Think you would benefit from using Scotland's People site - pay to view. Happy to have used a credit to show the marriage, but further details require more credits which you can buy yourself - £7 for 30 credits - 1 to view basics, 5 to look further

In reply to a PM received today from Justine.

"I am not related to your family. I was merely suggesting that Bart / Barnet was an alternate name for Bernard. I posted that family in 1841 as I though perhaps Barnet may have been connected (i.e. father) of the Jessie Sutherland (nee Williamson?) and Bernard Williamson posted on the 1871 census."

Justine is trying to get back to a marriage between Barnet Williamson and Margaret Ross in 1726.

Not seeing a marriage yet for that couple.

How do they fit with your family please?

??
Your 2 x Great grandfather

Bernard b. 1830 son of David Williamson (B 1799) and Isabella Miller
David b. 1799 son of Bernard Williamson (b 1768) and Jean Holm
Bernard Williamson (b. 1768) son of George Williamson and Isabel Holme

Ahh! I see now you think that Bernard Williamson and Margaret Ross are the parents of George Williamson who was the father of Bernard (b. 1768).

Rosemarkie Parish Churchyard

Rosemarkie was an important Christian centre in the 8th & 9th centuries. Carved Pictish stones have been found in and around the churchyard and have been removed for display in the village's Groam House Museum, the principal archive of Pictish history in Easter Ross.

The Highland Family History Society carried out a survey of inscriptions in 2004. As part of that survey, a number of stones were unearthed and the turf replaced following recording. In these cases, the principal inscribed names are noted in the title of the image together with details of how to acquire the HFHS's publication to read the complete inscription.

Cromarty East Churchyard

Cromarty East Church is the scene of much restoration work funded by many bodies including Historic Scotland, reflecting the historic significance of the this structure. As at the end of 2010, the church building has been fully restored and the exterior repaired and uncovered. Some work remains to be completed but by Spring 2011 everything should be done. It looks superb.

There are two other burial locations in this small town. Around the derelict Gaelic Church off The Paye are 3 adjoining burial grounds. The other site is St Regulus, beautifully placed as if in a wood.

Gaelic Old Churchyard, Cromarty.

The churchyard is situated above the small town of Cromarty at the end of the Black Isle. It is accessed by turning right into the Paye, at a layby located a short distance within the 30mph limit.

The church was built in the 18thC to serve the Gaelic-speaking immigrants, who came to work in the early textile manufactories, which made Cromarty a focus of economic growth prior to the industrial revolution.

Three extensions have been built. The one to the east (towards the Hugh Miller Monument) contains many graves of servicemen (Cromarty Gaelic East). More recent extensions are to the west (on this website these referred to as Wester1 and Wester2).

Cromarty Gaelic East

This extension abuts the east side of the Gaelic (Old) Churchyard, which overlooks Cromarty [not to be confused with Cromarty East Churchyard, in Church Street].

There are many graves of servicemen, including some, who served on HMS Natal, a cruiser, which exploded and sank just off the town in 1915 with the loss of about 400 persons.

Cromarty Gaelic Wester1

Lies immediately west of the old central burial ground and the ruins of the Gaelic Chapel. Earliest inscriptions date from about 1930s.
