I am struggling to locate and information on Henry George Goulding only the marriage to Edith Anderton in Macclesfield in 1941 (my nan Edith remarried some years later), does anybody have any informating or can help to locate any family information??

I have the marriage certificate now, and yes it shows father as George Benjamin Goulding so yes the above must have been correct and at the time of the marriage his father was deceased which I have confirmed on records I am still struggling to find a birth for George Benjamin Goulding can anybody else help? Thanks

Hello Julie, although George Benjamin was deceased did it give a former occupation?

Think there is a slight possibility that George Benjamin Goulding and Benjamin George Goulding are one and the same person... If so, there is a birth in 1886 in Southampton for Benjamin George, and he is on 1891 census return. Just a thought!!!
