Original documents (4) have him born St Luke's, Chelsea

He requested his own discharge in 1846. Was by all accounts an exemplary soldier who worked throuugh the ranks from Private to Sgt.

He was never abroad but not sure if that means he didn't go to Ireland.
Unfortinately nothing on record about his marital status or name of wife.

I am still trying to trace William Kitcher's first wife, Ellen/Eleanor Hogan, born 1815 Ireland.
Is anyone able to find a birth record, or parents. Any info would be greatfully apprieciated.
Thankyou.
