Find Ancestors

greetings all.
My wife is a Rickerby and I've been looking at her family history for a short time now. Have managed to track back to Robert Rickerby and his 2nd wife Sarah (Miller) from Co Wicklow (Carnew?) prior to their move to Canterbury, New Zealand in 1873.

Robert was married twice, both times in Ireland - his 1st wife was Ann Whealan.

I'm hoping someone may be able to help with info on Robert and his wives while they were still in Ireland (births & marriage & where they may have lived etc). Also what happened to his first wife Ann.

Would appreciate any help please and love to hear from anyone who could point me in the right direction.

on Robert's death cert shows he died 30 Aug 1902, Halswell, Canterbury, NZ aged 70, therefore born ca 1832 - states he was born Ireland, father (looks like) John, no mother given

also shows twice married in Ireland - first to Ann Whealen? (6 kids in Ireland) and 2nd to Sarah Miller (8 kids in NZ) - probable he came with Sarah and kids from first marriage to NZ in 1873 onboard Cardigan Castle (family search)

hello again - in the replies recv'd there are a number of references including source film numbers eg 101341. The film numbers seem to be from Family Search but I'm curious how the information supplied is more complete than the searches I've done myself on Family Search. Am I missing something or should I be looking in other programs?
