I think the Edward John thing might be something to "take with the proverbial pinch of salt" - everything else - albeit tenuously - fits.

Edward Albert being a musical violinist is another thing...just who is he? His birth doesn't fit with Edward Thomas from Bristol or his son - slap bang in the middle!!!!

Well now I have had to do gardening this afternoon and have come down for a cuppa.

I have been told that Lottie would'nt go to a hospital or a doctors. I am wondering if her birth was ever recorded.

Choccy her father died before she was wed which was in 1916.

I have looked at the Ireland 1911 census, just in case, AND at emigrations and incoming passengers !............. NOTHING !!

Can't find a death for Edward in the UK or abroad !!

NO army records that I can find !!

I am going to look through newspapers later to see if I can find anything !

Bart’s hospital.

The Clhristmas Entertainment is always a

time when the Bart’s stafl, medical and nursing,

past and present, foregather, and tickets of

admission are much sought after for this annual

function in the Great Hall of the Hospital, all

too small to hold those desirous ,of crowding

into it.

The Entertainment which this year took

place on the evenings of January 1st and %nd,

was in the hands of the Hospital Musical

Society, and its Amateur Dramatic Club.

The Orchestra excelled itself in. “ DiIignon,”

by Ambrose Thomas, and Waldteufel’s

L’Estudientin a was most admirably conducted

by Mr. Edmund Maney, who threw his whole

heart and soul into tbe music.

The comedy, “His Excellency the Governor,”

which has been produced at the Criterion, was

most amusing and excellently played, and

indeed each evening was a pronounced success
