Does anyone have the following. I am trying to tie them together and add them to the rest of my Ramsbottoms. William Ramsbottom married a Betty Smalley in 1803 they had a son Richard born abt 1806 who in turn marred a Mary Harker one of sons is called James and another is called Smalley James in time married and calls one of his sons Smalley. Any help grateful.

BUT.............you should be working backwards..............cross-referencing and linking as you go

First of all thanks for what you have already found. What I am looking for is a connection between William (who married Betty Smalley) and the Ramsbottoms I have from Huncoat and Padiham.

Why do you think there could be any connection?

Ramsbottom is a very common surname in that part of the world
