Find Ancestors

Can anyone help please. I can't find any further mention of this relative beyond 1911 census when she was living with her uncle,Francis Passey and his family. I know she was engaged as I inherited her engagement ring but can't find any trace of her in the marriage records. She probably died before 1926,as my father didn't know his Aunt. Her sister was Elsie May Jukes born 1893 in Kensington.

I think that I would tend to have a more open mind on whether she ultimately married and indeed when she might have died. The fact that your father did not know her may have been because they did not live close enough to visit. For example there is this marriage and death which might be linked.

no marriages for Dorothy in Derbyshire but there's many marriages for her name in various parts of the country so not possible to pin down one

Just to add a little more information that may help. Dorothy Jukes appears to have been raised in the Chesterfield area which is where William J Lynk was born and raised.
