First of all you say you think he's your gt gt gt grandfather - how have you arrived at this? Have you bought certificates (birth, marriage, etc) of your ancestors to 100% confirm the line? Which of his children do you know for definite to be your direct ancestor? If you're absolutely certain that he's the right person then you need to tell us more, like where was he born, who did he marry, what census have you got him on, and where.

Member Since: October 2008 Posts: 1 Send Message	I think this is my Gt, Gt, Gt Grandfather. Born in 1817 had 2 sons William D and Robert D. I have now come to a full stop as there is no record before 1841. Can anyone help ?
