Well,I wish you luck, but I suspect you won't get anywhere if you don't get a marriage cert as suggested above. |

Don't know if it's the right lad or not, but think this may be the baptism for the 1882 birth posted above: |

Have you got a copy of the marriage certificate for Charles William & Edith Alice? According to the Army Records for Charles William Eggett he was a Waterman, Dock Labourer, Rigger. |

I have thought and thought about this. It can't be coincidence that there is never two of him! So, either Charles William Eggett and Charles William Huggett are one and the same or there is some scullduggery gone on! |

Just an added note - looking at google map, the 2 1911 addresses are only about 2 miles apart!! Either we are wrong or he was very brazen about it. |

Mind you, the above man always uses Eggett doesn't he! Could be someone else I suppose. But I would still be inclined to get the original marriage cert, if you don't have it already, to check father's details as suggested by HeyJude. |

Looks like the 1891 above is him - quite a spelling variation isn't there, not the easiest of surnames: |

In 1911 Edith Alice is with her parents with a son Charles Leslie aged 2 - so assuming he WAS CHarles' son, then 1909 is probably correct. |
