Robert James Corfield was my father with siblings Norman and Joyce(Highley, Shrop.) they had some illigitamate offspring! Do you know of them? ...... Also seeking the descendants of Thomas Corfield and Ann Butcher @ Tedstill farm I have the 3 Thomas's but need their pref. living relatives.Note:RJC was son of Persis Elizabeth Jones &Robert Kitson Corfield - son of Thomas Corfield and Mary Anne Kitson (married 1880). Also who was Joseph Corfield who was the 1st occupant of Tedstill 1841, was he Thomas's brother?

Thanks 4 your hard work. I am seeking more tangible link between Joseph Corfield at Tedstill & "my" Thomas.
Batch noM058562 shows the Corfield brothers marrying. Joseph goes on to have girls Mary1825 & then Martha1827 < @ Deuxhill cls 2 Tedstill. Census 1841 shows them at Tedstill with a Thomas aged 2. I have been told he was named, as with so many Shrop families, with his mothers surname Hall as a middle name. Ronnie, your transcription of the 1841 census has some errors take a look at the original note. the surname is Corfield.
The farm transfered or was purchased by (his brother?) Thomas born c.1793 and Ann nee. Butcher ....(did Joseph die I don't know)...Then to his son Thomas & his wife Sarah (Note: the 1871 Census shows 3 generations of Thomas Corfields) Sarah ends up selling c.1880 when Thomas dies only months after his son Thomas marries Mary Anne Kitson, my GrtGrandparents! They start married life @ Severn Lodge. Note to anyone reading this DO NOT TRUST any books nor the official Corfield Web site tree branches are mangled. DON,T JUST COPY ... RESEARCH !!!!......PS I am still seeking LIVING relatives.
