Searching for Thomas Lewis and Elizabeth marr 1799 Llanelly.
Only clue is that Thomas stated from Hengoed Hamlet which I understand is in Glamorgan. Dau. Jane bap. Llanelly so assume living Llanelly. Many thanks if someone can unravel problem to research family.

Hi Maddie, Yes that is Thomas and Elizabeth. Have just found out that Hengoed Hamlet is near Llanelli, Carmarthen. Hoping they are still there 1841/51 to allow research. Jane bap. 1808 and married 1823 to William Davies (should be surname David but interchanged). I have so far been able to research David family which was quite difficult back to John David from Llandarrog but now hoping to research Lewis family, and perhaps Bowen family.
All help gratefully received.

No sorry, This is all the info I have. I know that Daughter Jane and William David lived at 5 Caemain Cottages which I now believe was close to Hengoed Hamlet.
I assume Thomas and Elizabeth were about 20 when they married but that is just guessing. Is there a Lewis family living close to Caemain Cottages? Difficult I know.

the baptisms on family search do not give the parents names unfortunately
