I have found Hannah Charlesworth (Birth 1839 Southwell - FreeBMD) in the 1841 census at Southwell, Kneesall but I am having difficulty establishing her parents. Can anybody see the family at that time please? |

Thank you brummiejan and Prickly Holly. William and Keziah are great. There is a grandaughter Keziah born 1876ish but I am syill perplexed by all the changes made by GenedReunited and IGI - sleuthing ancestors used to be fun but now it is just hardwork for this old wrinkly! |

Hi brummiejan now you have really upset the pigeons with your cat! but I suppose it is possible that the parents replaced the dead baby with another child of the same name - not an uncommon practice at that time. |

Took an interest in this as I lived in a village very close to Ollerton and Kneesall. |

Thanks PatinCyprus that is great. All I need now is similar info on William Charlesworth. My neighbour will be well impressed! |

Thanks Pat, just need William's place of birth from the 1851 census to confirm that your birth is correct - unfortunately the surname Charlesworth is more common than Presgraves! |
