How to track BAIN emigrated South Africa 1920s?

Hi does any one out there know of the Bain family who moved to South Africa from Co Durham in the UK some time after WW1? I think probably before about 1925ish.. I unfortunately dont know what port they departed from or where they landed (though family history is that it was South Africa). |

Thanks Reggie. Going to South Africa is the family story. Plus I found another post today from another arm of the family (who I am trying to contact) who also said that Peter Bain, wife Alice and some of the children went to South Africa. |
