Thanks guys, But how will i know which marriage sertificate to order? 1914 after he was born or 1910?both of them look about right , as his fathers occupation was a stone mason think i will go for that one, where would you order from, thought there might have been a link on this?

Hi Guys , sorry about the delay in getting back to you, I will start at the beginning to see if it helps you to help me.
I am helping a friend research her paternal grandfather, We have a wedding certificate from his first marriage, he married a Elizabeth Kelly on 22 nd November 1936 in Lewisham aged 25 years, thats where we get his approx date of birth from as we dont have a birth certificate. We do know his fathers name was Frederick Edward Baker, but we dont have a mothers name. Due to some letters found we know that he did get divorced fro Elizabeth.
Where is the best place to start? ordering all the death certificates that have the name or the birth certificates? any help please ! thankyou Jean

That might help us narrow the records down - there are a few of the same name. (A death record may give us an actual birth date so knowing the background would help).

Im looking for help in finding Harold George Baker from Lewisham, London Born around 1911, he married Elizabeth Kelly in1936 and had one son with this marriage. I know he left his wife around 1945. What i want to know is if he re married and had anymore children?
