Married 1864? in Sydney.wife name Maria Catherine St George, born poss Wales. Pedro father was named Johan Balenzuela and Josefa Barville. Would like to find more information,however it seems spelling of the name is causing me a problem.

(Why he was the owner of a white petticoat is something I don't care to investigate!)

BEFORE the Water Police Magistrate, with Mr. R. A. Hunt,and Mr. J. B. Smithers.

Samuel McCaughey, cab-driver, for a violent assault on Mary McNeill, at her husband's residence, in William Street, on Saturday afternoon, was fined £3, or two months' imprisonment; and the same prisoner was further fined £2, or an additional two months in gaol, for another assault committed upon Peter Balenzuela, the landlord of the Five Roads Hotel, corner of William-street and the Darlinghurst Road, the same day.

(Peter Balenzuela is mentioned in another couple of court articles - seems he acted as a Spanish interpreter)

Peter Balenzuela, who was employed by th. New South Wales Water Coniervalion and Irrigation Commission for l8 years before Hie Inception of the Yanco Irrigation area, »as fatally Injured this afternoon.

He was attach.Fix this text ing a cable to a pipe that passed beneath the irrigation canal on Btobenah-road, near Leeton, when the earth embankment collfip, throwing him heavily on to a piece of timber In the excavation, breaking an arm and sevcirir Injuring his head. Although quickly extri- cated, he was found to be dead.

Thankyou to all the helpers,I did know some of the history,but stuck on Pedro's father and mother.I dont know how he came to Australia or where he departed from.Or year he arrived in Australia.Did however find a member who had the same name,but says his lived in the Phillipines before living and marrying in Melbourne Australia..Interesting though same name.
