Do you know his parent's names? If you have him on any census record with a place of birth then it may be possible to find his birth record. You would have to by his birth certificate to get an exact date of birth. |

Had a look, it doesn't appear his pension/service records have survived, the only thing i can see is his medal card, but these do not provide that sort of info. |
