Trying to find ancestor William Lewis (born approx. 1789) Convicted of theft. Sentenced to death 16th September, 1812, at the Old Bailey.. Sentence changed to deportation to Australia. Left England 2nd june,1813 aboard the `Earl Spencer`arrived Sydney, 9th October,1813 .. Left behind a wife and children. This is all the information I have on him. Hoping someone recognizes him so I can follow more of my family tree. Thanks

All I know is that in the court transcript it mentioned his wife and children. I have no more information, sorry
