Hi, can anyone help with John & Elizabeth Flynn. found them on the 1881 census. On the census it only states they are from Ireland, so I need to know where abouts in Ireland. John has a birthdate of 1828 and Elizabeth 1833. There was also a daughter (my late great grandmother) 1856 and a son, Thomas 1873, both also born in Ireland. They were living in Salford at the time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Audrey |

Thanks everyone. I have all the above information and this is the right family. I just want to find the birth place of the Flynn family. Or if someone would be kind enough to look up 1871 or earlier censuses to see if there's more detail on them. |

They are unlikely to show on 1871 if the 1881 census gives the correct birth place for Thomas c1873 Ireland. |

10 marriages on the Irish Civil index for John Flynn between 1850 and 1856 |

Can anyone look up the Irish Civil index and see, if by any miracle, there's a John Flynn that married an Elizabeth. And that there's only one! Don't have her maiden name. I've tried the IGI without success. Both Margaret and Thomas the children of the marriage were both born in Ireland before the family moved to UK if the records are correct! Audrey |
