Well you will be able to trace him back from the parent you are descended from . ie his marriage and children .

His marriage cert should name his father if known.

hi,
I am looking for info about Arthur Banks .1911 census shows him working on a farm at Appleton Roebuck in Yorkshire ,he was born in Micklefield in 1896 ,but apart from this I cannot find anything else about him.
