If you contact Birmingham Registry Office and explain the situation they may have a look at the marriage certificate for you, especially as it would be very easy for them as you have all the information they need to find it, and give you the name of the church without you having to actually buy the certificate. |

If anyone is able to search the local paper of the last months of 1939 (which as it is Birmingham, it maybe a huge task), there maybe a notification. The library usually has microfilms of the local paper to check.. |

Hi, just been to the funeral of an elderly lady from the home I work in and her elderly cousin is trying to find out where the lady was married. The Church they married in. |
