I am seeking information about my grandfather Charles Grice. He was born in manchester in 1890 and had an older brother called John, the fathers name was William Henry Grice. In the early 1890's the family moved to Leeds.By 1911 he had two more brothers and three sisters, their names-Robert and Arthur,Mary Ellen,Catherine and Elsie. I would like information about my grandfather and his family from 1911 to 1925 when he married my grandmother,I know that he served as a soldier some time during this period.

yes, there are TWO Charles Grice, one born 1889 and one born 1890
Both born in Lancashire, and both apparently moving to Leeds at about the same time.
They must be cousins!!

The only info between 1911 and 1925 will be WW1 service records and the 1921 census
The former will be on Ancestry - if they are among the 30% which survived enemy action in WW2.
The latter will be not be available until 2022 - if ever
