thankyou so much as I had the mcminnis name on marr cert which is a spelling
error my problem is the irish part as I cannot get further as dont know where in ireland they came from so not sure what to do next so thank you for all your work as the person named evelyn was my mother so thankyou once again. :-)

The tree also gives the 1871 census above with parents James and Mary and brother Andrew as the correct 1871 census.

A tree on ancestry has a copy of the marriage certificate of
James Mcmanus (Bricklayer) of Pack Horse Lane
and Margaret Jane Wooler (Coton Weaver) of South JohnStreet, which gives his father's name as :-
James McManus, occupation:- General Labourer.
Her father:- John Wooler (deceased) occupation:- Furnaceman
