as we explained above Lee however many times Robert's mother had been married any child's birth certificate would give her surname before her 1st marriage ie her maiden name

I agree there is a bit of a problem finding a marriage - you really could do with the actual marriage cert if you don't already have it, unless you happen to know the first name for one of grandad's parents.

hi having trouble tracking me grandad robert corbett family hav his death record died 1986 died in doncaster says date of birth 22 august 1920 got birth cetificate born wigan lancashire mothers maiden name jameson can not find a jameson and corbett but think they moved to moorends south yorkshire cause me dad says that me grandad and brothers and sisters where born and bread there.
