How have you come upon this man? Can we assume he was reputed to be the father of an illegitimate child somewhere?

Have you done any research yourself?

Have you any idea how common the name is in Scotland?

Looking for a Mr Rae born about 1885,could be John lived I think in the Leith area might have worked at the Rubber Factory in Edinburgh could have left for America in 1908 1909 please if anyone has the slightest snippet of information please contact me.
