My Grandfather according to his birth certificate was born in 1861 at 145
Charter Street Manchester but in the census their home was4 Crown Lane
Manchester.
I would like to know what that building was or who's home he was born at.?
I have been on find by address on findmypast 145 does not show up.
Can anyone help PLEASE ?

145 Charter Street does show on FMP. It a lodging house with several pages of residents.
Do a search for Charlotte Humphreys born 1798 Oundle who his the owner.

Thanks Vera ,My Gt grandparents must have left at this time. or they had not arrived there just yet..My grandfather is William Henry Spencer b 1st of Sept 1861,his parents George and Eliza live at 4 Crown Lane Manchester.
