You've opened the message but as you have not acknowledge that or the help that has been given on this thread, I presume you are having difficulty getting back here?

Thankyou I think!!!! this gets very confusing the rweason being is when we found Elizabeth living with yhe coppins this is actually my fathers cousins name so are we presuming a little cousin on cousin, i am so confused cheers Sandi ;-)

Coppins.........where have you found Elizabeth living with this family?

It seems clear that she left her family and took up with John Brock, never married him and died under her married name Collins

I'm sure the lady above is a different person, is also shown as born in Bury, heres her birth

.........and her death? Wavertree was abolished 1.4.1922 to become part of the parish of Liverpool.

Probate shows her a wife of Patrick Collins, so it might not be the right death.

And she shows on all the censuses with parents James & Susan*

Heres another birth for John Brock and Elizabeth showing that she is still in Salford in 1912
