My great grandfather x 3 was Edward Davis, was born to Edward Davis (senior) (marriage record) in about 1814-1821. (According to the 1841 census)
He married on 1st Feb 1838 Jane Lester, St John Baptist church, they had a daughter Mary Jane, the three are mentioned on the 1841. Jane died some time after and
Edward then married Matilda Gough, 10 Aug 1843 St John Baptist, Glastonbury, England. Edward was listed as living at west hamptree and matilda at st johns .On the marriage certificate Edward is listed as a miller and his father Edward (senior) as a Sawyer (person who saws wood in Timber mill/pit worker, sawing timber
He then died in 1845, in glstonbury.
any help into the Davis ancestry would be greatly appreciated, would ideally like to get further back
