Can anybody help find a marriage for Elizabeth Ann Platt nee ? to Tom Platt

She was born abt 1857 in Sandbach Cheshire
I can't work out her birth name
1881 she is living with Gillet family a cousin married

1891 she is living with the Gillet family a niece widow

She died 24 Jan 1933 in Chadderton, Oldham and her death cert says she was the widow of Tom Platt
I am presuming he died between 1881 & 1891

I was looking for a Elizabeth Ann marriage possibly in Lancashire

Means I now have to find a marriage for a Bowers to a Harrison :-D :-D

lancashireAnn - I have the plot info becasue it is a family plot - thats how I found her death cert ref Joseph Gillet was actually a grave digger.:

However the records you found on IGI are amazing -all my parental family come from Manchester and I've no idea where any of them are buried except Robinson grandparents and cousins Partingon grandparents in St Andrews Blackley

I've no idea about any son Thomas - no nothing about her except what is on the census.

Was so excited with the possible death of Thomas Platt.
However death cert of Elizabeth says he was a carter
Found a Probate for the same Thomas you found but the person who collected is a Hannah Evison wife of Samuel. Another name I can't link up :-D :-D

NanaSue - the name on the probate may not be the beneficiary, just the person to whom probate was granted. Could be a neighbour, family friend - anyone who was considered responsible enough to administer the estate.

Mike - not sure myself. I am presuming Sarah but the family is so complicated with multiple marriages

I suspect it is Sarah even though she is old than Sarah because she died with Mary Ellen Eddisford (declared as Cousin) who was Sarah Harrison & Joseph Gilletts daughter :-D :-D

Hannah Evison used to be a 'Platt' - perhaps it would be worth following her for a little way, if only to prove that it is not the death you were looking for ?
