You're quite right, Mark, you did ask a specific question about Sam and we went off on a tangent finding info that you already knew. However we had to do that to try to ascertain where and when Sam was born.

Could you tell us how you came across Sam's name?

Mark

Yes Margee but the original question being asked was missed and all information already found was put on.......

Just realized, Mark, that you had a previous thread on this person and we've done some duplication.

Mark, it's very difficult to access such recent records here in Canada. I have no idea if there are any probate records online. I doubt very much that copies would be available in England.

Would anybody have any idea of locating probate records for Canada 1951...

Thanks

Would copies be available in England due to being part of the commonwealth or am i wrong.

There are no Boak births with mother's maiden name Trickett on FreeBMD.

This passenger list shows Eva arriving in Canada in 1914. Says she has been in Canada before from 1911-1914. She's with Florence, 10, born England and Hilda R., 2, born Canada.

I have found out that a great great aunt possibly had a son called Sam - Samuel. The parents would be John Boak and Eva Trickett. If anyone is able to take a look for me. Unsure of dates but other children born around 1903-1911.

Thanks
