I am trying to find more info on this relative especially his military records.
He was born in Morley 1889,the son of John and Margaret Barraclough.
On the 1891 census he was I year old living in Jackson Fold, Morley,Leeds, west yorkshire.( down as John Robert Barraclough)
1901 census he is aged 13 living in Jackson Lane Morley.( down as John Barraclough)
I believe I have now found him on the 1911 census in India serving with the York and Lancaster reigiment, John Barraclough age 21 single rank private, born Morley.
Can anyone find his army records?

70% of WW1 records were destroyed during an enemy bombing raid in WW2

I'm sure that if your relative's records were on Ancestry, Andrew would have posted the info for you
