Ann - The information - which has been submitted - is all so wrong on there, and caused me a lot of problems until I was able to get documentation about the Hallams. Why can´t people get their facts right before posting such information. Totally misleading.

Well, that sounds very interesting alviegal. If the 1871 census shows the correct Frederick he certainly was a bricklayer.

Yes Chris his father`s name was Thomas Hallam.

I just could not understand how a person could disappear from all the records and there is no death recorded. It all seems quite logical now. The Hallams are very tricky as it is such a common name in Leics. & Notts. It took me 7 years to establish which Thomas Hallam I am related to. ;-)
