Trying to trace a Bernard Crehan, I'm not sure of his birthdate but probably between 1915-1919, he married or lived with a Georgina M Todd. I found them in 1948 living as man and wife in Hampstead and from 1951-1958 in Wandsworth. Then nothing after that...I do know that Bernard had a sister Margaret who married Georginas brother Joseph Todd in 1933.. |

His birth should be on FreeBMD or try looking for his sisters records ie her birth and marriage |

There appears to have been only 1 Bernard Crehan birth registered in England or Wales prior to 1938: |

The cert will give their fathers name .if known and her age which will help identify her birth |

Mmm the birth for Margaret in 1894 would make her in her 40s when she married and a good 10 years older that Joseph... |

As Shirley advised you really need to obtain a copy of the 1933 marriage certificate to find out what age she was when getting married and who her father was. Crehan is of course a common surname in Ireland so perhaps Bernard and Mary originated there. |

Bernard was definatley arounf in 1959, living in Wandsworth with Georgina M ..It would appear they had a daughter Sandra H Crehan born 1948, I did see her on the genes site but she hasnt replied...Pity, it would save such a lot of going around in circles.. :-( |

Interestingly Sandra A married in Melton Mowbray which is where Georgina died so looks like the family moved. |
