What is the best method for tracing backwards?
I have John Campbell born c 1846 died 11/11/1928 father James (Tievecrom Armagh)
Ann Carr born c1850 died 29/05/1930 father Edward (Carrickbroad Armagh)
Married28th sept 1866 Jonesborough RC church Meigh
I have found John and Ann's wills but would like to trace their parents and siblings

You should be able to find both with parents and siblings in the 1851 census. If you would like some help, can you tell us where they were born?

In which country?

As the names are common, the more info you give, the better your chances of a result

When and where did they marry?

Well, it isn't England/Wales..............

Probably Scotland...........unless it isn't anywhere in the UK

Guesswork...............based purely on stated birth years

It's pay per view, however I can see their marriage on there and a possible birth for John with father James. (these are doing a free search, and without seeing all details I can't be sure)

If you have their marriage certificate who were the witnesses??

The only Carr surname I can see with a father named Edward;
