The tree shows a sister for Jane Allington, Louisa born c1863.

There is a marriage for a Louisa Allington to James Mitchell in 1880.

I saw the Mitchell-Dimock marriage that PH posted but wasn't sure, as there seemed to be quite a difference in occupation between a gas fitter as per census 1851, and a printer.

On the other hand, six years between the marriage in 1844 and the 1851 census is plenty of time to change occupations.

Kucinta Report 25 Mar 2013 14:01

I can't find a marriage yet for the Henry Chandler who married widowed Sarah Mitchell, I had hope if it were recorded in the LMA records that we might obtain the surname of her father.

Henry Chandler is also very much a toy boy - maybe they were just living over the brush as it were?

Kucinta Report 25 Mar 2013 14:13

Re Jane Allington's parentage, I couldn't find the girls in 1871 to confirm, but my guess is that Mary A is actually Henry's wife and should have been recorded as daur in law not daur.

Marriage register for both Allington girls says father is Henry - bootmaker.
