Find Ancestors

hi I am trying to find the birth of George Turner in 1842 cromford I have got his marriage cetificate to Hannah wilson in oct 1864. But i cannot find our any more his father is listed on the certificate as George Turner occupation coppersmith.
George got married in Rotherham & is listed in 1871 as at Kimberworth
?He is not the artist but i did think so at one point

I have to come to a standstill at the moment with him

His son was Arthur Wilson Turner born in 1870, other childern Eleanor, Thomas Alice & Annie

George died in 1920 in rotherham

Arthur married Mary elizabeth Bramhill in 1891

yes that was the father i was going along with till i got the marriage certificate last week

he went to kent in 1891 with Hannah they had 2 children then annie & alice

in 1901 they went back to rotherham and were still in that area in 1911

Hello Sharon and Gins.have answered you Sharon on my Thread............unfortunately the baptism entry show only Sarah as a parent..which usually means illegitimacy..and since the surname is Turner.if Sarah married later is likely to be to someone other than Turner......'lltry and find out...........you can probably ignore the 1874 marriage mentioned..as I am happy with the later history that you have......
