Hello, on Ancestry on border crossings from Canada to USA 1895 to 1956 there are two Horace Bowmans listed. One to Niagra Falls and the other Black Rock. Could someone with Ancestry subs please take a look to see what information is listed, especially dates. Horace emigrated with his parents to Canada in 1913 and I have those details so please don't bother looking at those. As an adult he lost all contact with his family so I am wondering if these entries be him (long shot). Thanks. |

Hello Marian, just so we don't waste time on the wrong man - what was the birth year and occupation of your Horace? |

My Horace was born 1908 in West Hartlepool, England, parents Horatio and Ada. I have their immigration details. |

So basically, are you trying to find out what happened to him? |

Looks like he was born 1907, not 1908: |

Yes, I have a previous thread but that was about their emigration which was answered but apparently there is some mystery about Horace (I think black sheep) and no one seems to know anything so I am trying to find out. |

Should really have continued on that thread so we can see the query in context. |

OK, I don't suppose I will find him, because apparently his family in Canda didn't know where he had gone but thank you for checking the entries on Ancestry. |

Just logged on. Yes I have the above, thanks. It is just Horace I am looking for. According to rumour from donkey's years ago he was last heard of in Toronto. Obviously he will be dead now. It seems there is a skeleton in the cupboard regarding Horace and I'm curious. Best wishes. |
