It is best to keep to one thread per family Keith, so that all information found is easily seen.
I do understand that this is a different branch of the family we were looking at, but they do all appear to have been shoemakers and stayed in the same area.

My goodness, there are a lot of Richardsons.

Reggie thank you very much

Reggie Report 9 Dec 2012 12:58

As this clearly relates to a previous thread..........you should put your request on there.

However....................

Fathers' names were not recorded on marriage registers prior to the introduction of Civil registration in July 1837

As this relates to Lancashire......... try the following

http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/

If you know from censuses when and where he was born..........look for his baptism

hi
i hope you do not mind me asking but you were so helpful a little while ago
could you find the fathers name of Henry Richardson who married Elizabeth Appleton in 1824 i seem to have gone astray somewhere
i am lead to believe his grandfather (Henrys) was named Peter born app 1749 in Warrington
hope you do not think this request very cheeky
if so apologies :-(
