Iris was my great aunt, who I did not know existed She was born in Treorcy - Glamorganshire. I found her in the 1911 census living with my Grandmother Rosetta May James 25.09.1901 to 17.03.1964, and other sister Tressa Herminia Matilda James 21.03.1899 to 10.03.1943 fondly known as Minnie.

Their parents were Margaret Matilda Date and Edward John Skews-James.
both of which died very young, so the girls went to live with their grandmother Abigail Date.
Does anyone have any further information please

I wouldn't totally rule the Bristol marriage to Harry Peters out, as there is a dearth of Iris I James born c1905 (according to Iris I Peter's death record).

There was an Iris Irma M James born 1903 Monmouth, but she seems to have married in Ross, Herefordshire 1928, and probably died in Cambridge in 1957.

It looks like there were children from the Peters marriage, including a daughter called Margaret R - though I suppose she could have been named for the royal Margaret Rose, rather than possible grandmother Margaret?
