Parents of William Jarman..b1823c

I am trying to find the parents of William Jarman who was born in Peckham,Surrey and was a Vet. He died in S.Africa in 1861. He was married to a Mary Scott 1/6/1845.
Trouble is that the name keeps changing ..jarma/.german/jermain!!
On the 1851 census they are in Neath and as Jerman!
There are some ties to Bowness/Wigton/Cumberland.
I have been tearing my hair out to get something concrete.....
Any help would be much appreciated please.

His marriage certificate will give you his father's name and occupation.

Do you have the marriage certificate?
Does it not give his father ?

There are several trees on Ancestry which match the birth/baptism details on AnnCardiff's posting

Daniel born 1791 Sudbury died 1863 and spouse Ann Hewlett born1792 died 1849
You should be able to view these trees via this free link
