have you also tried archive.org and put in the search term Shropshire Phillimore, that should pull up some old Phillimore books for you to look thru. Just find the one that has the area you want (assuming it's been uploaded) and then open the book, once open if you use 'Control F' to open the search box and you can then search that book by name. |

Please does any one have access to the Shropshire marriage Cd. I think the above couple may have married in Shropshire possibly before 1837. James was born about 1815 at Wem, Harriet 1810 at Brewood Staffs. No sign of the marriage in Staffs according to the BMSGH or GRO after 1837. Any help much appreciated |
