Please could someone give me the info about William Cole b 1861 & his wife Alice Lisle Cole nee Williams b abt 1866.
According to Ancestry they appear on the 1930 census living (I think) in Camden New Jersey.
Presume William died in America as I have Alice returning to the UK alone aged 85 in 1952.
Any info would be much appreciated.

Gosh, that´s marvellous. Yes, the family were from Shields.
William & Alice´s son John William married my ancestor Janie Jarvis. He was a railway superintendant & they lived in Burma for some time. I have them returning to the UK from Rangoon.
When Alice returned from the USA in 1952 her forwarding address was 98 Front Street, Newbiggin.
Thank you all for your hard work.
