Hi everyone thanks for all your prompt responses - that's definitely the right family and I knew that Henry James Sainsbury was a wealthy man when he died. I also need to unpick the Beresford addition. |

Hi Jan, I think Elizabeth Dixon is Margaret Elizabeth. Interesting that she was the only child to inherit as there were other siblings. Assuming that Henry J Sainsbury left his £79k to his widow when he died, over £64k had gone in about 8 years! |

Angela, the probate record only lists the executors of the will, not those who inherit. You have to purchase the will to get the names of those who inherit. |
