Mary Ann------------- 1838 wales

These 2 married each other l am looking for mary Ann last name and parents. I know who there KIDS are.

I was looking on family search and possible located William Birth? however no father was listed does this mean he was illegitimate ? l have copy the entry over in to this message. I am looking for any information on the parents and siblings of William and Mary Ann.

The birth certificate of one of their children will give you mother's maiden name. Once you have that you can find a marriage and the cert. from that will give you their father's names and occupations which will help find or confirm any information that is found.

Think that could be him, but maybe some certificates could back this up. Any sign of the family post 1881?

You may have something Catherine, I found a Hannah Hart going to US in 1883, but the image is a picture of the ship, not the passenger list! Ancestry can be so annoying at times.

Added: found the right image now, but it's really difficult to read, however although her father is William I don't think it's them. William is only 45 and I think the mother is Hannah

A tree on ancestry has the Hannah J. Hart from the marriage record as follows:-

HANNAH JANE HART
Birth JULY 1875 in Sadberge, Darlington, Durham, England
....................so looks to be another Hannah!

Normally you get some suggestions from Ancestry, but nothing on any of the family posted in 1881. I'd looked at that other Hannah J and discounted her, although I may be wrong.

Think we need some feedback from Amanda on how she arrived at this family before we can get any further.
