thomas hull was married to irene mcateer 1942 in Preston. I know that Thomas mother was named Hannah, born in Chester? I dont have any other information. Hannah is on her own (i think) in 1901. I also think that she had another child John but unsure of this. Please help. x

This is all fabulous but, Thomas Hull and Irene mcateer had children in the 1940s So I was thinking That Hannah and her husband would be around 1910-1920? Does that make sense, Karen x

Karen, if your Thomas is the one shown on the census info above that would make him aged 55 when he married Irene and 71 when his last child was born.

I think you need to buy his marriage cert to check his age & his father's name and occupation.

The marriage certificate would definitely be the way to go but quite possible for a man to have a child when he ws aged 71.
