Yes I am sure they are related, cousins I think.

You have been a great help, I think the Thomas Harvey carpenter we found must be Thomas the seaman’s father, I will continue to look for any other info to back this up, it has been very difficult not knowing how old Thomas jn was, I don’t know if his death was recorded in Feb 1870. I will try to look for it.
