There is a marriage in Perth in 1942 of Peter A ROE to Ethel F J LAVERY (reg 1794). She was born in Yilgarn WA in 1916.

Thank you very much MarieCeleste for all that information you found, you have filled in a lot of blanks on my tree, it was always a mystery what happened to that family.

Its very sad about Peters wife.

Alan, there's actually a few deaths on the index for Nellie Roe!

Could you give us her maiden and parent's names?

What do the children's initials stand for?

Whereabouts in England where they from?

(All background info gives us a better chance of finding them)

EDIT: as no reply have done some digging, Nellie was born Nellie Barker in Coulsdon, Surrey - daughter of William and Sarah H.

The child PA is Peter Archibald born 1910. The outgoing list has a Wm A but the only birth I can find is for a George b 1913

Would someone please be kind enough to help me with the following as I do not know what records are available.

Nellie Roe born 1887 England sailed from London to Freemantle Australia March 1924 with her two sons P A Roe born 1910 and W A Roe born 1919.

Nellie was married to a Peter Gordon Roe born 1879 England but I cannot find his departure.

Is there any information available on them after their arrival at Freemantle.

On the Australian Death Index is one Nellie Roe death.

Any help would be very much appreciated
