trying to find a marriage from 1835 or near in London between william pain and elizabeth dont know second name have been to London but no help there can anybody help me get past this

Hello Irene - when I saw the heading "Family Pain" I thought that's how you were describing somebody!!

Let's look at this logically - who are you working back from?

You need to tell us whatever else you know about William Pain and Elizabeth - did they have children? If so, who where and when.

Do you have William and Elizabeth on any census? When and where were they born?

There are two records on ancestry with those names in 1831 and 1840 for a start, but need more info from you.

There are more than 2 on Ancestry especially if you use a different spelling for Pain. More info is definitely needed.
