If you go to page 1 of the census images you'll see that the ship was the "Cressy" with 80 guns, captain Thomas Harvey. It was in the Mediterranean, Lat 37.5 N, Long 11.46 E.

Hello Natasha, he was on the "Cressy", the captain was Thomas Harvey.

On the night of the census the ship was at Lat: 37.5N , Long: 11.46E in the Mediterranean. (Somewhere in the Sicilian Channel)

1861 census.

How can i find out which ship he was on if any?

John Perkins- 1838 croydon surrey.
parents- William Perkins & Ann Perkins (Legg)

he doesn't appear on the 1871 census ,well i can't find him, but he reappears in 1881 in reigate with his parents.

he died i believe in 1888..

it say's he was an "Ordinary" ..
