Given they were born c1900 and c1903, I suspect they have probably passed on by now.

Glad it's sorted though. :-)

Mark, you've ticked this thread as answered, but we don't seem to have sorted it.

Or have you solved it somehow?

Please share...

I don't suppose the names of the girls as given on the other tree were Margaret and Alice were they?

IE Hannah's daughters by her first marriage?

Grasping at straws here...

If this is the couple who married in 1899, then it looks like that Hannah would be too old to have further children in 1921.

Another tree on Ancestry has her as Hannah Bennet, might be worth looking for Bennet Boardman marriages or Sanderson-Bennet/Bennett daughters?

EDIT: The tree didn't give name of first husband, but there appear to be 3 children, one male and two female, from that union.

This could be Hannah's birth:-

Year of registration: 1897
Quarter of registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Mother's maiden name: Not available before 1911 Q3

If her name is Hannah then the marriage and births that I posted earlier are probably wrong.

Annie is Hannah Boardman on the 1921 marriage index.

There is a marriage for an Annie Oakes to an Isaac Boardman in 1899. There are also two births named Sanderson with mother's maiden name Oakes in Ashton, Lancashire but one is a boy and the other a girl, so not sure if this is "your" family or not.

William and Annie's marriage certificate should say whether she had been previously married and may give her maiden name (or her father's name).

all i know is William marrried Sarah Lewis 1902 andAnnie Boardman 1921

KathleenBell

KathleenBell Report 14 Jan 2013 13:53

Had Annie been married previously? If Boardman was her previous married name then the maiden name of mother would be different on the birth index for the children.

Do you know how old Annie was when she married William Sanderson?
